Saturday, July 11, the Building Task Force met concerning the real estate contract for the Ute building. It was a profitable meeting, and we finalized the terms agreed upon by the church. There will be a final revision Wednesday night, and it will be sent to the seller on Thursday to review. After all of Mr. Shelley’s questions have been addressed, a time will be set to sign the contract.
Two of our acting trustees, made up from the board of deacons, will sign the final contract with Mr. Shelley. Then the real work begins. We have a closing date of January 15, 2010. This gives us plenty of time to get all of our “ducks in a row.”
It was agreed upon in the meeting that we will contract with Mark Austen to represent us for the site plan review. He will have to do much of the work that will be presented to the city, and we all felt this would be money well spent. We are continuing with the rezoning which is the first step of our process. Please pray the Lord would give us wisdom to present to the city the proper paper work to get the rezone completed.
