Negotiations
Negotiations are still going on. Fine points of the contract are being worked out. We are down to a few details that need to be worked out. As far as our end is concerned we are pleased with the contract negotiations. The seller is still making some adjustments on his end. All in all, we are looking for a favorable contract that both meets the seller’s needs and the church’s.
I can not thank Ed Mueck enough for his efforts in his contacts with the seller. He has known the seller for many years and this makes it comfortable for both parties. I will say that every day something is being done to get us closer to a signed contract. The seller has made it clear he wants a signed contract by the end of July.
Please keep praying as we still have to get the re-zone done along with the site plan through the city. We have concentrated our main efforts at this point on the contract. Once we get this finalized, we will use the information the city has sent to us to get busy on the re-zone.
Remember, that once we own the building, it will still be business as usual for the tenants. We still need to sell our present location before any real changes can be done there and before we can occupy.
