Re-zone
The nitty-gritty details are being worked out right now on the re-zone. Most everything that can be done has been done and right now we are awaiting an overnight package from the owner to complete the package the city requires of us. It has been a process but a needed step in the right direction. We feel from every indication the city has given to us, and the counsel we have received for the re-zone that it should proceed through with limited to no problems.
We also met with Austin Civil Group who is helping us with a site plan review. Initially we thought that we were going to be able to get through this process with no funds being spent, but the Task Force feels it is prudent to ensure that we can get done all the things that we want, and to get answers to all of our questions before we close December 15th. We are praying this process goes just as fast for us and we will be able to have everything complete before closing.
August 28th we will be meeting with an architect about some initial drawings for an auditorium. Once we have those we will be sure to post them and give everyone an opportunity to share in the excitement.
