Re-zone Complete!
Psalms 52:1 “…the goodness of God endureth continually.” God is good. Often we only give credit to God for being good when things seem to go our way. The truth is God is good all the time. Whether we get what we desire or we don’t. God thought it good for us to have the rezone of the Ute property to go through without a problem. The first hurdle has been gotten over with little effort. Praise the Lord! That means we are one step nearer to closing on the property.
The closing is set for the afternoon of the fifteenth and our trustees are working on their schedules to make sure they will be there to represent us by signing the loan documents and for us to take possession of the building.
We are currently working through the Major Site Plan Review and we should have that meeting with the city sometime right after the first of the year. Then it will be just a matter of selling our present building to be able to build our auditorium at our new location. Prayer for the sale of the building should be at the top of our list. Pray also for God to open the doors for us to go through and build the auditorium for His glory. All of us can get involved in the prayer ministry of our church.
We are over the half way point of our fundraiser to raise $50,000.00. I want to thank you for your sacrificial giving toward our building purchase. I know that the heart of LBC is toward the things of God and the furtherance of His Kingdom here in Grand Junction. Thank you for your faithfulness.
